Mount St. Louis-Moonstone has been the home of Simple Snowboarding since it’s inception over 6 years ago. During that time Simple and MSLM have formed a strong relationship and helped each other grow over the years. The March Break kicked off with the 3rd Annual Horseshoe Open which is a two day event with three separate contests, Friday saw the Slopestyle event, Saturday was the Rail Jam and Saturday night was the Big Air to cap it all off. The first weekend of March brought the Ontario Championships held by Snowboard Ontario. The events took place at Mount St. Louis- Moonstone in the Outback terrain park. Multiple disciplines in both Race and Freestyle were held over the weekend keeping spectators entertained and coaches, athletes, and event staff busy. Read More

The first stop of the Canadian Shield Tour was held at Blue Mountain from February 21-23. The Canadian Shield is Canada’s premier slope style contest series for skiing and snowboarding, this year the tour consists of two stops- Blue Mountain, ON and Mount Seymour, BC. Read More
This past weekend was the 3rd Annual Beaver Valley Park Brawl, stretched into a 2 day event during the Family Day weekend. This year Beaver Valley turned the event into two separate contests, a Rail Jam on Friday and a Slopestyle on Saturday. The Rail Jam was held on their new Street Plaza set up, which offers some very diverse features in one central location. This made for some creative riding during the competition and easy for spectators to watch all the action. Saturday’s Slopstyle saw a mixture of weather, starting out under sunny bluebird skies and turning into a snowstorm by the time finals rolled around. Speed was the biggest issue of the day, nearly every rider required a sling shot into the course from the coaches at the top to get that extra boost of speed. Read More
The Volcom Peanut Butter Rail Jam is one of the most highly anticipated rail jams of the year. The event is very laid back and fun, it is a jam format which allows competitors a lot of opportunities to get their trick dialed and keeps the spectators entertained. Stop number three of the Ontario Grom Series was held at Beaver Valley on Sunday February, 3rd. This stop had the largest turn out yet, with over 100 competitors registered! Sunday brought some light snow and great conditions in the Paradise Progression park, where the contest was held. Read More
Sunday January, 27th was the final day of the X-Games, and while some of the best Snowboarders in the World were competing in Aspen, Colorado, the second stop of the Ontario Grom Series went down where some of the best Groms in Ontario were competing at Craigleith. Read More
The 2013 Grom Series kicked off the competitive season in Ontario with the first stop held at Mount St. Louis on Sunday January, 20th. The Grom series is aimed at beginner to intermediate Freestyle Snowboarders between 4 and 15 years of age. Read More
