Quiksilver Down-Low
Monday March 31 2008
The Quiksilver Down-Low finished up a great season at Louis for the team...
Highlights included Grant Marshall Bomb dropping through the Halfpipe channel-gap into the transition....
Grant also Ollied the highest in the Ollie comp but was eliminated just before the last round when he bumped the marker off....
11 year old team member Mikey Ciccarelli hit and cleared the Superpipe channel gap with a lofty frontside air...
Coach Cattons cab 720 over the superpipe channel gap!!
Dave Shaw came up short and somehow survived on what I heard was the 60ft Gap jump... the most legitimate Jump I have seen in Ontario...
I was the only snowboarder to hit the spine gap after coming up short on the first hit and front-flipping out on impact! I sessioned it for a further 4 hits before it got too slow to clear after bombing the entire hill to hit it...
It was an amazing day and a great way to finish up what has been an amazing season at Louis for us...
A huge thank you to the Huter Family, especially Rob Huter for all of his help and support over the season...
Thank you to Craig Burley and the Park crew for such a great season and a great finishing day!!
