Simple Snowboarding coach Craig Gouweloos took out both the best trick and the Pro mens Win at the Canadian Shield Calgary stop over the past weekend.  Simple Snowboarding team members Mike Rotsaert and Natalie Allport also found themselves on the podium with a 2nd in the Pro Womens for Nat and Mike Joining Craig on the podium for a 3rd place spot.  Craig threw down a Switch back 5 Mute, Backside 900 Stalefish (Taking out best trick), Cab 9 Melon, 5050 Front 3 into the bank, Front blunt 270 out.  Mike threw a Switch back 5, Cork Back 7 Indy, Front 7 Melon, Front Lip Popover, C-wood Shuffle

Coulton Conway 1st Place

The YOU LOOK GOOD stop at Mont Tremblant is always a popular one for the Simple crew, and the rest of Ontario for that matter, it was a quick trip but a good one. We drove out Thursday, practiced Friday, competed Saturday, then it’s back home on Sunday. The practice day had beautiful, sunny, calm conditions and felt like the warmest -14 degree day of the year.
